well the other day at a guitar shop i was playing some sort of s series guitar. im not sure if it was a prestige or not but one i played was nice. the neck was nice and fast and the action was great. it sounded pretty good too and the tremolo seemed decent and stayed in tune like it should. but if i were you id go try it out first any way because you might not end up likeing it.

I'm the proud owner of a SZ2020 Prestige, which although most everything is different from your guitar (pickups, frets, bridge) should have the same build quality. Mine is flawlessly built, intonation is spot on, action is low and all that jazz. The build quality should be about the same so I'm guessing the S2170 is a great guitar too.
