Hi guy's ....I'm having a sound issue's w/my Les Paul ( Gibson ) . Something is makeing it sound realy buzzy....I'm thinking my ground may be going out. When my amp cable get's wiggled it gets worse...it even cut out a couple times....... I alsoe was curiouse on how to tell if a pickup is going out or need re-waxing......any and all comment are appreciated.... THX........................... D.O.G.

Maybe´it's just the cord that's broken?

Or the input jack. I'd start trying with another cord before moving on to the guitar.

Something similar happened to me, and the cause was indeed a faulty cord.

That just happened to me. I tried another cord, and that didn't wwork. So, I unscrewed the input jack in the guitar (or the place where the cord goes in, I don't know the name of it0 and the little peice of metal that held it in wasn't holding it good, so I pushed it torwads the hole, and know it works fine. Hope this helps!
