Hey guys, I'm Ahmed! I'm from Cairo, Egypt! I just recently joined GMC and I think it is absolutely awesome! I thought I'd introduce myself to you guys and hope I'll make some friends from around the world
 I started playing guitar when I was 12 and ever since then music has been one of the most important aspects of my life! I've had experience with several genres. I started with classical music, flamenco then moved on to more modern genres like rock, blues, heavy metal and progressive rock. My favorite band of all time is Dream Theater. John Petrucci is my guitar God! I also like Marty Friedman, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Satriani, Vinnie Moore, Pat Metheny and many more! My favorite bands are dream theater, camel and pink floyd. I also like Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold, Rammstein and well the list is too long to put here! hehe I own a beautiful RG Ibanez Prestige, one RG Ibanez, a really old Washburn, a Vox Tonelab LE multi-effect pedal, a Marshall amp and a Line6 amp. Unfortunately before joining GMC I wasn't playing much music and I was spending all my time working. However, once I joined GMC not a day passes without me playing and I'm starting to get back to my old level! Oh and I'm also addicted to Kitesurfing.. if any of you guys live by a beach with good wind, I recommend you give it a try  Nice meeting you guys! |

hey bro good seeing another Egyptian here too! I ordered my guitar through a friend in the US but there's a music store called Floyd Rose in Dokki, Cairo and they sell good guitars. Maybe the variety isn't as much but they do have high quality guitars! You could send me a PM and I'll send u the details.. The owner's a friend of mine
