I think something that helps get a little faster is to develop your skills with the weaker fingers.
I leave you an Ex. to work the little finger.

Hi Gods of the guitar! I need some help. I would like to develop my speed, so i wonder which kind of exersices will help me? THANK YOU VERY MUCH To play fast you gotta start using speed in your jamming. Play some 3notes per string shreds at your top speed. You gotta do it alot, but a decent low string shred won't take too many weeks to develop. Jam alot, and play fast. Excersizes tend to get really boring, and you just skip it and do something else. Anyway, I worked on all my techniques through jamming.' Why not have fun as you train? This post has been edited by kjutte: Nov 21 2008, 02:55 AM -------------------- Eatsleepjam:
Nice Lesson! You said something about how it can be overused, what do you exactly mean by that ? Any tips to not overuse it ? -John Andrew Cockburn: Yes ... play it less often. ________________________________________________________________________________ Guitars: Ibanez 2570Z, Ibanez RG470 (I think?), an Ephiphone Les Paul, a Dean Baby V, and some random acoustic guitar.
