> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! Congrats on your first video for the REC program! This is a killer take! Most of the parts sound as good as the original and the only details that I can mark it that the last fast lick is not totally clean as it is in the original lesson, but I wouldn't consider it wrong, it makes it sound rocker. So it's just different.

You have a good control of your finger picking combined with legato. There are some moments when your groove could be even more connected with the backings but it's once again a very little detail.

I hope that this is the first of many REC takes! Keep on rocking.

Wow this was really tasteful. I loved your tone on this.. totally different to Muris. It sounded really snappy and percussive.

The lick around 0:24 was a little bit awkward, just stopping it from being the full 10... but you've still got a very respectable 9 from me - nice job !

Very good take. Like Gab said - a bit different approach but in fact there is nothing wrong to try to get inspired and adopt thinbgs to our own taste wink.gif Aside from the lick that Ben mentioned I can feel some tuning issues while You play some notes together at the beginning. Just a detail but of of those little things that make take sound pro smile.gif Anyway...well deserved, good rating on this one smile.gif
