Man that's great! I've never been able to attend one of the video chats but the notes have helped me a lot! Switched pick styles because of your notes and it helped tremendously! Thanks Todd! smile.gif

This is great! Has it been really that long? Amazing, Todd. I never did stick with it. sad.gif I might have been a shredder...but i will at least have the notes to look to in case I want to pick it back up. haha pun not intended. I am off work by that time of the video chat...so perhaps i will drop in. smile.gif

Oh my! Poor Todd! The pressure is really on now!

But nothing that the Shred Master of Midnight Metal Madness can't handle!! biggrin.gif We have a great time every week but you know Todd has something Super Spectacular planned up his "palm-muting-long" sleeve! biggrin.gif

Does anyone know the record for the largest number of chat room attendees? I've heard rumors that the broadcaster could crash if too many joined a chat.

The Guitar Wiki is great in itself but it's a fantastic resource for GMC to have all 99 (so far wink.gif ) of Todd's Techniques there. Huge thanks to Fran for that!

And, of course, thank you Todd for 100 great lessons! I can't wait for the next 100! biggrin.gif

wow!! I always miss this chat coz of time zones. sad.gif

Posted by: Gitarrero Mar 8 2012, 07:23 AM

Congrats Todd, your chat is always awesome!
I am gonna celebrate your 100th lesson by going to Switzerland and giving you and the other guys a break from my german lessons...so Azza can write whatever he wants without getting corrected laugh.gif
I might be back for lessons 101.

Wow Todd! That's what I call a number of lessons. I checked your chat a few times, but I wasn't able to keep up with the speed tongue.gif - so I decided the next time I join, it's possible for me to do your patterns maybe with half the speed you're shredding biggrin.gif

Keep RAWKING!

Thanks Kris! smile.gif Thanks to everyone here @ GMC who have made the SATURDAY METAL MELTDOWN in to such a blast!!!!

You guys make every chat a party. A bit of a torture chamber for the fingers at times, but always a fun party smile.gif Finger Torture Party! smile.gif

I've been thrilled to see my regulars make such massive progress in their playing. I can see it in the collabs, recs, etc. You guys are clearly putting in your practice time and I'm making some of this stuff crazy hard just to push you wink.gif And you guys always pull it off!

LESSON 100 goes out to all of you. YOU RAWK! It's also a BIG SHOUT OUT to one of my fav instructors here, Sensei BEN HIGGINS! I learn something new each time I attend his chats and I"m using his RACER X COLLABORATION as the foundation of LESSON 100! I"m really looking forward to it!

See you guys there!

Todd

PRACTICE!

The Honour was all mine! That backing was KIIIILLLLLLER and we shredded it up and down. It was truly epic to see everyone pick up these crazy licks almost instantly and then play along at 200 BPM. Of course, some of the students hands spontaneously combusted, but that's a price we all have to pay at some point! smile.gif

Thanks man! smile.gif This is still one of my fav solo's that I"ve ever played. It's fun as heck to play it and it works! This is another example of BEN HIGGINS awesome writing skills as he wrote this killer backing track as well!
