I go a place called Redhouse Studios, which is geared towards teaching music the tried and tested way - by putting the students into a band on the first day and then teaching you to play covers. It's for all ages, and an excellent opportunity, especially for old guys like me who just don't have the time for a full time committment.

This place churns out some really awesome musicians - the youth program is where it shines the brightest. These kids have been going through the program for a while now, and formed their own band, and they kick ass for being only 12! check them out. They're really good!

Impressive! I was still trying to figure out how to even hold the guitar at that age!
