String Skipping Lesson 2, Yet again another Muris Varajic lesson |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey Guys,
Have been trying this lesson for almost a month now and taking break every now and then as it was beyond what I could do. I tried again after 2 weeks break (composing for competition) but failed so left it again. But then I didn't have anything to do today and was trying to fix the intonation of the guitar and trying this lesson. I could do it almost. Then just decided to take the camera out and record. Missed a couple of notes but I think this is the best take I could do. Original Lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...ipping-lesson2/ My Take: Hope I pass. Thanks, Chandra This post has been edited by skennington: Sep 13 2010, 07:00 PM |

that''s a great challenge you took there,
I think you could still do better and be even more precise, maybe think even faster, go a little faster in your head so that the actual tempo don't catch you by surprise, THat's a technique I use when playing this sort of fast stuff, but great for you to have posted this! -------------------- Visit my:

Very good, still it's not for 10, some parts should be played more precise...

It's very good, but I think it was more than a few notes missed. It needs to be better. However, it's a demanding etude, and that is a positive thing. I think you need to spend more time on this, to get it perfect.

A challenging etude. However, you should've tryed it on a slower tempo, you have many mistakes picking wise, bet your timing seemes to be good.
