My Magic Pick

It is nothing special, pretty old and worn out, not pointy anymore and has its shape deformed due to me holding it a lot. But I feel like I can't play with another pick. This morning I thought I lost it and I felt like I will never be able to play the guitar again But then I found it Do you have such an attachment to your picks, or to any other thing?? Cheers, O. I used to have that attachment to my guitar picks. Turn that one into a necklace or something and then use others, You will always have that one near you, but the other guitar Picks will perform better. I am severely attached to... my hands. Literally I don't really do the things I used to for fear of damaging them. I stopped playing every sport, even fencing, just so I wouldn't have to worry about my hands getting injured. It was unusual, small and about the size and thickness of a jazz 3 but it was totally black, shaped like a skull and had a white winking skull face on one side of the pick! I bought it in a music store I visited during vacation and it was my main pick for a long time. I learned so many cover songs with that pick, its crazy. The strange part is it just simply disappeared...I have an overturned seashell in my music room that I keep picks in and the skull pick was there the night before (At least I thought it was) but when I went to start practicing the next morning it was gone. I turned the house upside down looking for it, but never found it. Never been able to find a replacement either. What a guy!) But not a particular, individual pick. Pretty much any sharpened clayton 1.5 or Buffed Switchblade will do the trick for me Find out what you like about that pick and then either get some custom picks made, or buy one that's close. Then I would get used to playing with a worn down pick which isn't good because when I started using a new one it was weird. So now, I try to stay comfortable with factory ready picks like the Jazz III (that's right, I've gone from the Purple Tortex over to the dark side...) I still only have one Jazz III which is the one Todd sent me, thank you Todd ! Got to get around to buying more before I wear that down and get used to it....
