I am working on ear training lately and I want to transcribe solos. Since I am not extremely good yet, I am only doing slow solos right now.

Currently I am working on

Lines in the Sand
Octavarium
The Spirit Carries On
Another Day

What are some other examples that I can use for my ear training practice, while in the progress of learning new solos? Please only refer solos that are relatively slow to moderate speeds. Thx.

I would like to know what bands are those?

My tip would be
first solo of knocking on heavens door - Guns n roses

Or are they Dream Theater, do you want just DT? wink.gif

The intro solo is cool. I learned that one, the rest of the song I don't really like.

Also plan to work on that one now. Thx. No they don't have to be just DT.
