Sometimes I feel like I play ok other times I feel like I don't play nothing at all. Just a few minutes ago I was doing far beyond the sun, sometimes I feel like my AP sounds good but most of the time it doesn't, so, I train and I know it requires alot of patience but I don't know if I'm doing the right stuff...I always think about using the metronome but I seem to get a bit lost around it (saying things like this makes me feel like I don't know nothing and makes me get desmotivated

This was probably some immature person, so it may be wise not to pay attention to youths when they talk like that. They usually don't have the complete picture in their mind about life, let alone music. |

Sometimes I listen to my playing and think "Hey, this sounds pretty good" and sometimes I just don't know why I even bothered to try play guitar in the first place. So that part of your question just sounds like normal to me I don't have any specific tips on how to practice Far beyond the sun (even though I've practiced it countless hours myself). But if you find it so hard that you even lose your motivation to play - then you're not ready for that solo yet. Leave it for a week or so, and practice some other stuff. Then you can go back and try it again. -------------------- |

Thanks Marcus, maybe I'm pushing myself to hard, I'm not loosing motivation maybe I have tons of it and just loose it for some time due to the lack of speed to play certain songs, for example, your neoclassical etude, I can't play it full tempo yet, but it still sounds good to me if I put the channel clean and just play it calmly ^^
