I have seen lately a lot of threads showing guys shreding and making world records at unbelivable speeds. I honestly preffer a good slow solo with lots of feeling , there is no world record to beat with a solo like that. So I invite you to post your favourite slow solos in this thread.
Here goes mine: David Gilmour-Marooned -------------------- |

True. You don't need speed when you got feeling ^^
Gary Moore is full of these solos. An example is The Loner -------------------- GMC is not just a website... It's a lifestyle!

The solo from "While my guitar gently weeps" with Eric Clapton playing is quite good.

The Loner is also one of my favorites It's one of the most beautiful songs ever made by a mortal man Another extremely good slower solo is Gary Moore - Empty Rooms. I get goosebumps when I see how much he's into the music -------------------- GMC is not just a website... It's a lifestyle!

I love Marooned (PF), and there is one old music solo that always come to my mind... the ones from Winds of Change music (Scorpions).
there is another one that was the intro sound of my computer for a long time that is the one from one Alice in chains song... , the song is named Sunshine. Let me find if they are in youtube videos... Alice in chains - Sunshine Scorpions - Winds of change Here you are! :-) -------------------- |

Soma. It has some shreddy parts to it, but it gives me chills every time I hear it. Pure emotion in that one.

It´s not totally slow, but I´d say "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd.
There´s amazing feeling into it. -------------------- my "Thank you GMC!" video
