Hey Nick i've decided to start learning jazz/fusion, and i want to learn to do jazz (and fusion) improvisation. I've done all of Andrew's theory lessons and i want to know what you think is the best way to start jazz, and is there a book you know of that could teach me the theory i need to know?

Cheers

well the three points you need are - Listen, Transcribe, Learn to play.... you then need to make sense of what it is you are playing from a theoretical perspective as this will help it make sense....
A good book for basic theory is Frank Gambale Technique book 1

hope this helps!
