Check the new released track by Metallica from the upcoming record ''Death Magnetic''. For me it's the first good song and it also is a classic thrash song with all the trademarks of their better times. It's not as good as their old stuff but it's still a heavy song. that was disgustingly bad. in no way is that thrash. Nu metal or alt rock maybe, but not thrash.

where are the killer riffs... there arent any nasty riffs in this song, seems like the intro is the song

I'm surprisingly looking forward to the new metallica album. it actually seems they wrote a pretty good thrash album, especially compared to st. anger. st. anger was a great album, if it was any other band other than metallica. hopefully the rest of death magnetic will be decent! biggrin.gif
