Ciao Joe come stai, sono di Germania pero parlo anche un po l'italiano...allora
I have a question about the timing in your new tarantella lesson I think I don't get this straight...your guitar pro file is a 12/8 bar with 4th and 8th notes with 240 beats per minutes...isn't this too fast? (not playing it actually but to count with). Because in the video you are precounting 120 bpm which is much more comfortable to count with by the way of course ...but then you can't actually be playing what you tabbed in the gp5 file anymore. As your are precounting with 120 bpm you must be playing a 6/8 bar with 8 and 16th notes, right...?! Tanti Saluti e a presto This post has been edited by Nighthawk1: Sep 20 2008, 01:35 PM |

Ciao è un piacere, "sentire" un po' di Italiano su GMC...ti di spiace se la risp la scrivo in inglese? Altri potrebbero riscontrare il tuo stesso problema
So the point is that 12/8 is a ternary time signature, this means that the main pulse is a dotted quarter-note (three eight notes), but unfortunately the current version of guitar pro does not allow to alter the main pulse from the standard quarter note. So to hear it correctly turn off the metronome, and ignore the 240...the real tempo is 120 bpm...sorry not my fault Take Care Joe kataldo P.S. I've contacted the Guitar Pro Staff...they agreed with me that this was an important missing, and will implement it in a next release -------------------- ________________________________________________________________________________ Add Me on MSN: joe.kataldo@hotmail.com Visit My Website JoeKataldo.com I Use Bare Knuckle Pickups MySapce.com/JoeKataldo My Lessons and Instructor Board My Wiki Page |

Ti ringrazio tantissimo per il tuo risposto !
I've set it now to 6/8 bar 120bpm and play 16th and 8th ...that is actually the same outcome isn't it ?Or if I play just as you said with 120 bpm and (4th and 8th and ignore the 240bmp) how do I count this when playing as you said the main pulse is a dotted quarter note?.
