hey everyone
just wanted to drop by and tell you that i finaly achieved the tone i wanted for my playing after extensive experiment and alot of help from GMC members i finaly got it and what works for me is the following signal chain (just in case you want to improve your tone or just try my settings) Guitar( Ibanez RGr320ex-rbk stock pick ups) ->Mt2-Metal-zone->Vox Satchurator->Digitech-Whammy->front of a Marshall VS-100 with a pod XTlive connected to the EFX Loop running small chorus, small delay, small room reverb marshall settings: bass 12 O´clock Mids 12 O´clock Treble 12 O´clock i Never tried the efx loop before and i tell you if u havent tried it DO IT! i hope this post helps you in anyway thank you all GMC-ers and a special thanks to: Skennington, Ivan Milancovic, JVM and last but not least ZakkWylde Have fun! |

Glad you found the tone you were looking for man. LOL ok as soon as i figure how to record to the computer using the pod with my stop boxes because i dont know if my tone is going to be correct if i connect the pod as it is to the pc via USB |

Congrats on your achievment =)
I agree on the soundsample! If you have a "Line In" entry on your soundcard, you can connect it with a cable from your "Line Out" on your Marshall. Did my Trial and Error Method work?^^ How did you put the pod into the fx loop? yes it did zakk its like this: Pod input to marshall send/ and Pod Left /Mono to return marshall currently i dotn have the means to record the tone as i want it to be il be sure to upgrade my computer |

I agree with Carlos, upload a sample mate!! We want to hear your new tone xD allright allright next wensday im getting new cables for better connection to the efx loop coz my cables r constanbtly failing i will upload a sample just for you guys btw The mt2 settings are level 10 o clock low maximum high 7 o clock middle max mid freq max dist 3 O clock rock on Cool man congratz =) I'd love to have a Vox Satchurator too! I agree on the sound sample btw finaly i see a fellow portuguese member finalmente xD |
