Arpegio in mesure 3 isplayed with p-i-m (thumb-index-middle), the 5 string arp (measure 5) is played using thumb for 5th and 4th string and i-m-a (index, middle, ring) for the first 3 strings. Btw i-m-a are placed in position before thumb begins to play like if we were struming a chord.

hey gerardo, so if we look at the 5 string arp every string is played seperately after each other in 1 ( with different fingers ) downstroke? sorry but i just cant get your sound thats why im asking in such detail . cheers Yes, thatīs it! The 5th and 4th strings are played with one thumb stroke, to do this press on the 5th but aim to release in the space between the 4th and the 3rd string. 3rd si played with index, 2nd with medium and 1st with ring finger. Practice this first, play 4 note chords with this fingering p-i-m-a, all notes at the same time, then play 5 note chords playing the lower two strings with thumb, once you can play all notes at the same time, you can try to play them in an arp motion, the important thing here is to get eveness in the rythm. If still is too much trouble you can play al 5 strings with thumb, or extending the index as in Sergioīs rasgueado lessons. A vid of you would help me a lot.
