I think you forgot your upload huh.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

i use a sm57 just outside the cone 1/2 an inch away on one of the speakers of my peavey 5150 combo, the mic goes into a m-audio fast track and record with ableton live that just about it biggrin.gif and do the 4 cable method with the pod xtL wich muris told me but ive been reading around saying that you cant do it but somehow it works with me.

I like the solo very much(perfectly played).
That first part, where you play legato is so beautiful, Guthrie is good composer, he really knows guitar sound capabilities well.

Perfect!

Nice take smile.gif

I think you have to be more confortable to play that passage. You're getting to the notes late, in the first seconds is more evident, but you're kind of late and have some displacements on the phrasing throughout the entire intro.

That's really easy to solve, a little more practice and you'll be nailing it like you were Guthrie biggrin.gif

Yeh theres alot of sliding in this main riff but i guess the late notes where because i litteraly just learnt the song when recording that video, i might learn the whole song not sure yet.
