Hey guys, and welcome to my Stop Time Blues Collab final mix&comments thread!
Emir had this great idea for his collaboration for putting video comments, and I think it is an awesome concept. In this collab I will try to do similar thing, cause videos can be more effective. Thank you all who participated, and I hope to see you on more collabs as well! This thread will be open for consultations and feedback for all GMC members, and I will regularly update it with video comments. Sorry if my english is a bit bad in the comments! I will do 1-2 video comments per day, and comments will be in the order that you've uploaded the takes. In the end, after all the comments are done, I will upload the final mix as well. Since this is my first time of doing these kind of comments, any feedback on how to make them better will be very appreciated! Here's the list of participants (by the upload order): 1. Toroso 2. berko 3. Matt23 4. enforcer 5. Velvet Roger 6. leedbreak 7. Sergio Dorado 8. kaznie_NL 9. Caelumamittendum COMMENTS: 1. Toroso PART 1 PART 2 2. berko PART 1 PART 2 3. Matt23 PART 1 PART 2 PART 3 4. enforcer PART 1 PART 2 5. Velvet Roger PART 1 PART 2 6. leedbreak PART 1 PART 2 7. Kaznie PART 1 PART 2 8. Cael PART 1 PART 2 9. Wow! Fantastic! The video critique is just awesome Ivan. Yeah, Emir commented on my tone as well. The EMGs are ho and all presets sound different now. I'm working on dialing in a good tone with them.
Thanks for the helpful comments, and once again, these video responses are just great! -------------------- Live well, and live often!

OH MY GOD!
I was prepared to read your new novel on everybody's take and what do I find???? Ivan, this is truly beyond awesome! Did you create a separate YT account for this? I can't wait for my one but this does not mean you should be in a rush! I guess these collabs are pushing up my blood pressure a bit even more Thanks again Ivan for following Emir's great initiative, these videos are priceless... cheers -------------------- |

@ Toroso
Thanks a lot man, I hope everything turned out OK. I will get better at this commenting I hope as time goes by! @berko Thank you so kindly man. I haven't created a separate YT account, but will do it from the next collab. Your comment is next will be up tomorrow! PS I'm still developing a method for these kinds of video comments, so any feedback or comment on how to make it better would be great! -------------------- Check out my Lessons and Instructor board

Video editing is top notch but that's kinda your average Maybe you could put the mic closer because there is too much noise in the room? Other than that the first two vids were really informative, lights are good, your screen is visible as well. thanks again -------------------- |

Very cool videos Ivan. This way of talking to collab participants is way more effective than just bunch of text. You spent even more time than me for some video editing. I've done all my ones in one take but that's why your ones look better

This is absolutely awesome. It is certainly true that a video response is much more effective in many ways that a written response. It made me finally realize that I really needed to focus each single day with a clear practice routine on all my weak points of playing (after only 2 days, it already pays off

Thanks Oh wow, now these collabs will be really tight... all my mistakes will be presented worldwide... and I won't have the right to complain about them either Emir's initiative spreads like a lucky disease among our hardworking instructors. That's another reason why I won't be able to leave out any collabs from now -------------------- |

Hey, thanks a lot guys, I'm glad you like the new way of doing collabs. I think we all have to thank to Emir for starting with this great idea!
NOOOOOOOOO I'm last again.... My last name starts with a V, so on school lists I'm always the last one, here at GMC the same Thanks for doing this Ivan! Hahaha, indeed DOn't worry Kaz, the order of comments is by their upload order. Whoever uploaded first will hear the comments sooner, but it will all be done soon so stay tuned man! Very cool videos Ivan. This way of talking to collab participants is way more effective than just bunch of text. You spent even more time than me for some video editing. I've done all my ones in one take but that's why your ones look better Thank you so kindly mate, I think your comments were really professional and informative. Your idea for video comments rocks! Thank you Ivan, I too believe that this is the most effective way... I hope so mate This is absolutely awesome. It is certainly true that a video response is much more effective in many ways that a written response. It made me finally realize that I really needed to focus each single day with a clear practice routine on all my weak points of playing (after only 2 days, it already pays off Cool mate! I'm really glad that the comments are so helpful. Emirs comments all contain a bunch of very useful tips and advises. This is very well done Ivan. I have to start using this technique for future collaborations somehow. What codex did you use , and what is actual size of the file ? Thanks Thank you kindly mate. The codec was flash video, bitrate about 800kbps, and resolution of 480x360 for a 19 minute file (like the first comment). It was around 140MB in total, split in two files (YouTube doesn't accept files longer than 10 minutes). What a great way to pass on your comments!!! It brings much more of a Teacher/Student (in the same room) relationship to it!!!! Yes mate, I share your enthusiasm! Very cool way to give responses Ivan, good job! Thanks a lot Toni! -------------------- Check out my Lessons and Instructor board

Wow 140mbs I will try it out , thanks Ivan It took some 2 hours to upload them. I'm not really sure if YT resume is supported, they have a new beta uploader, but can't say if it is having a resume option, cause it didn't resume it. -------------------- Check out my Lessons and Instructor board
