Here's my take..
I got it down pretty fast this time, so I'll try to do another take before the deadline as well Nothing special about it, just a nice little solo which in my opinion fits the backing pretty well.. Hope you like it With backing:

Hey Dave, I hope you don't mind, but I've been trying to learn a bit about mastering a track as well. I noticed a tadge bit of clipping with my take so it got me playing with the master.

Sounds great! What did you use to remove the clicking? Thanks man. I used a VST Compressor in Reaper (ReaXcomp) on the Master channel. Started with the hardness remover preset and tweaked on the mid and higher frequencies. Here's a screen shot of the plugin....

Already recorded a take (with video) a couple of days ago, but when I played back I liked everything except my vibrato (main focus atm), so I decided to not submit it yet.
Need to finalize Muris collab first now and then find any usable licks for Emir's one, but will try to soon post my take for this one as well -------------------- "Don't practice until you get it right. Here is my take David, partly composed and partly improvised. I am kind of ok with it, although my vibrato, especially at the start isn't great (but I like most of the other parts, so I left it for now). If I have time, I will try to make a better version, but if not take this one

Here is my take.
I recorded this after 2 hours of improvisation, and there are a few things I want to improve. I don't know if I'll get around doing it and I do like some parts very much so I'll leave it for now. Also I just started learning theory, so I'm sorry if some notes fell out of key (this is the first backing track like this I've ever actully played over). I tried to stay around the minor pentatonic, but at some point (00:27) I began playing this melody that had developed in my mind, ignoring scales. I guess I should pay more attention to the backing as well. I'm looking forward for comments Hope you all like it and that it doesn't scar you ears too much |

That note really resulted in a fresh sound after all the minor pentatonic licks! -------------------- |
