Original Lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-gu...h-metal-lesson/

Gear: Fender MIM Strat, POD X3 Live

Note: This is way outside the style I normally play now, but in my youth, I was very into Metallica, Megadeth and Testament.

Great take! Sound could use some tweaking, possibly a bit less drive to achieve better dynamics. Also try to pick more from the wrist

Great lesson choice! tongue.gif I like the take.. there are some rhythm problems at 0:27 but the other parts are very good. You could get a better sound from your X3 live. Try using another amp of less drive. The sounds remember me to the preset called Line 6 "Purge".

Very nice take. Some improvements on picking style, especially on fastest parts and with a better sound you can easily get a top score from this one.

I agree with Jerry here !
Work on the sound and picking in faster sections, it will be close to perfect !
