hey guys, here's the thread with the daily licks, please ask if you have any questions at all. Cheers:
guitar pro files are attached to the end of the post

Saturday Lick:

In this first lick we are using D minor pentatonic box 1 with blue note added in the second part (hammer one with the pinky finger).

Sunday Lick:

In this second lick, we are continuing where we left from the previous lick, using the same hammer on on the blue note (slightly different fingering), and going to box 2 of the D minor pentatonic.

Monday Lick:

This lick is on the E minor pentatonic scale, first we go over the E7 arpeggio and then bending and vibrating.

Tuesday Lick:

here we have a small lick in F# minor pentatonic, using ghosted slide notes, and one double stop bend on high E and B

Wednesday Lick:

Here we have a C# minor pentatonic lick, with a cool index finger whole step bend.

Thursday Lick:

Here's one nice B minor pentatonic lick, using boxes 2 & 3 smile.gif

Friday Lick:

Here's one simple A major pentatonic/A minor pentatonic crossover smile.gif

Saturday Lick:

By using A D E blues progression, we develop a rhythmic riff suitable for bluesy comping cool.gif

Yeah, I kind focused on simple and fast-to-learn licks, but if there is a need for some more complicated licks, I can put it as well smile.gif

Possibly? smile.gif I didn't know about those similarities. Kirk uses a lot of blues licks, perhaps he used something similar.

Doesn't have to be annoying, we all use licks that were played long time ago. We breathe new life into them by using them, and combining them in new ways, and this is how music evolved. So, if it sounds good, it probably is good smile.gif

This is really cool Ivan.

I think we should have at least 1 rhythm and 1 complicated lick.

Just a suggestion biggrin.gif
