Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Okay, I will upload my lesson clips here and get some feedback. I have been practicing to get better vibratos but still I think I will need to work more on that.

How do we mute the upper string when we are playing (using vibrato in) the 1st string by index finger?

Appreciate your feedback.

Thanks all.

Very nice. I think your vibrato is really good. Try to make it consistent. It should be the same vibrato on every string. When you vibrate with the 1st finger it sounds a bit slower than on the 3rd one. Anyway this take is still a great one.

I think it's a great take but the sound and the feeling could be improved. Like Emir said the vibratos sometimes are not hearable, that's a little about the sound and a little about that you need to work more on that technique.

Keep the good work! smile.gif

Very good take, everything came out very nice. VIbrato needs more work, need to be synced with the tempo.

Nice take, just a little more work on vibrato, like you said.

You can use your left index finger - touching slighty the string - especially if it's quite big to reach the upper string while doing the vibrato.
Right hand muting can help too, obviously, even it's more difficult to apply on higher strings.
