Okay I never really tried Dorian, so why not change this today?
I don't know which take is better, as I used a phaser effect in the second one, it gives some extra "juice", but on the other side the more such effect, the less actual guitar playing. If it is not a problem for You David, choose the one You think more interesting:)

Hi David,
Here is a take from me. It's kind off a quick recording but am fairly happy with it. Looking forward what you think of it edit: after listening a couple of times, I noticed that I'm not using any syncopated rhythm at all (probably as I needed to focus to not always syncopate This post has been edited by Velvet Roger: Jun 15 2009, 11:10 PM

Greetings!
I really like this one - great backing! First time I use panning etc, and I suppose it might be too much. Hope everyone likes it still When I first heard the backing, I was thinking in the lines of some jazz fusion stuff. After messing about with it, my mind started wandering off... I wanted to try to stand out a little on this one. Making it a bit relaxed and not just doing the first that came to my mind. Too much guitars? Too little solo? Too silly? Caught up in the moment? Just heard it again after a pause - sounds really messy first time, but sorts itself out second time you hear it I think. If anyone think it's really messy after one listen. Little update Nevermind, something strange happened and its sped up O.o *working on it* Can't fix it... Maybye you could comment on it anyway/fix it? Thanks This post has been edited by Sollesnes: Jun 26 2009, 11:39 AM

Too much guitars? Too little solo? Too silly? Caught up in the moment? Super awesome except the heavily overdriven guitar at the end. The idea is awesome but I don't think it tracked quite right. The rest is really REALLY interesting and original. -------------------- ::jafomatic
