Hey once again, fellow GMC'ers and instructionators !

My third REC take is now up. I decided to learn another level 3 lesson, instead of skipping too quickly up into the higher difficulty ones, and this way I could at least (try to) improve my vibrato somewhat.

Here is the original lesson.
"Harmonic Minor for Beginners" - Muris Varajic

Equipment:

Fender Mexican Standard Stratocaster (called Burrito) sad.gif
Reaper v3.04
Sony Vegas Pro 9.0
Line 6 POD Studio GX

I have some slight problems with coarse strings, also this is a lame excuse, so my sliding is horrific. I would really appreciate it if you give me feedback on my vibrato, and tell me in what areas I've improved (if I have at all)... I am ready to get yelled at for not knowing how to tap properly ! biggrin.gif

Great take, a bit more stiffness on the tapping part then needed tho.

very good. You have a great feel for these things. I would like to see that you execute every note as tight as possible. Sometimes you look like you're not controling it 100%. And that tapping section can be much better. Good work anyway

You don't need to tap with the whole arm. Use only your finger, and lock the arm in the most comfortable position. Work on your vibrato, bending and try to play it tighter. Nice work.

Very nice take Alex ! Work on your tapping and vibrato. I think that you should play this one just a bit more and you will have it down 100%.
