I've been looking at wah's lately. Not looking into any particular "signature" tone or "vintage" or anything like that. Lack of tone suck is a concern, more because I'd need to spend more $ to do a bypass workaround if I get a wah that sucks.
Budda Amplification has a wah that they call the Bud-wah that I like the sound of. It's not a tweaker's wah, it sounds the way it sounds, but it's good at it. Retail's $170 or so, but you can snag em used on eBay for $100 or so. http://www.budda.com/gear/wah.cfm I've also been looking at the Dunlop Crybaby 535Q because of its tweakability. It's also cheaper tham the Budda wah. I like the idea of the Morley Bad Horsie but I don't like the spring loading of the pedal...so you can't set it and leave it. No answers here. I have a VOX wah, but I have to say this is not the best choice.

I would go for the 535Q instead of signature wahs, but in the end it is up to you. It's best to try them in store and actually hear the difference before buying.
