This thing is pretty neat! I have two questions about it though...
1.) Think you can use this in front of a POD Toneport? 2.) It seems to tune the entire guitar - all 6 strings equally. What about tunings like Drop D where the low e string is the only string that is different than standard tuning? -------------------- Ben

it wont do drop d tuning because it shifts down any signal that comes through it, it cant recognize a string, the only use i i think is practical for it is using 10s and be able to play e flat, whole step down and tuning to drop d and going whole step down to drop c. even tough i heard the demostraion im 100 precent sure that the more you go down the less quality sound you will have.

1) Yes you can use it in front of a POD
2)It works on all strings you can go from e standard to drop d but you could go from e standard to d standard or from drop d to drop c... IMHO these pitch shifter are not 100% on the spot. They shift your tuning but its not always in tune, they sound a little off and it sucks tone too. This is only neccessary if you have to switch tunig within a song. If you change tunings from song to song then it's much less of a hassle to switch to another guitar! -------------------- ![]() Gear: - Jackson USA Select KV2 King V with EMG 81/85 - Gibson Les Paul Custom Arctic White with EMG 81/85 - Ibanez Rg 8527 J Custom 7-String with DiMarzio Evolution and Air Norton - Peavey 6505+ head with Marshall 1960AV 4x12 cab - Peavey Vypyr 30 Practice Amp - Dunlop Crybaby From Hell, Maxon OD808, Boss TU-2, MXR CarbonCopy, ISP Decimator, MXR Custom Audio Electronics Booster |

I agree with Zakk, better to save more and make yourself happy with another guitar

I read about this pedal in a magazine. I guess its somewhat cool and practical. But the tone pitch shifting won't be perfect. Of course it will only shift "everything" - it can't isolate certain strings etc. But for easy shifting to play different stuff without the need of "retuning" the guitar - its very practical! Yeah, you can put it in front of POD or anything really and it will work nicely!

It seems all the lessons I choose to learn are in different tunings! HUGE pain in the butt with a Floyd. -------------------- Ben
