Photos 1, 2, 20, 21 AND 23 are relatively close to my house. Picture 7 is from the city David Wallimann used to live in. I spent 5 hours trying to get to/from work on Monday in the rain. Tuesday the weather was fine, but the traffic was crazy because so many roads were washed out. I took the day off after I couldn't get to work. wow man, that´s terrible! that old woman with their kid´s photo is so sad, hope no more deaths come with the flooding. hope you and yours are ok man!

That's horrible. Last year I went to Atlanta for a weekend and got trapt in the city when it had the major gas shortage and people were leaving their empty cars everywhere I looked.

Living here in the midwest that is something that is always just one rainy week away from happening to many of us. We had floods this spring. Luckily my main house did not flood but the home that I rent out was flooded.
