Here's the original lesson. http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/jazz-n...tending-chords/
I used an Ibanez GRG170DX, with a Line6 PODxt. This post has been edited by skennington: Oct 18 2009, 04:12 PM |

Good take Matt
It's great to see that you had that patience to learn all these extended chords. Some shapes are a bit difficult to play, so I'm very happy to see this take on the REC. I'm not sure if there was something wrong with your DAW because from what I can hear, it seems that your guitar sound is a bit strange. Maybe you've used some tremolo or chorus effect. -------------------- Main Gear Guitars: Washburn N4 Vintage | Washburn N2 | Washburn WI67Pro | Washburn EA20B Amps: Laney GH50L (head) | Laney GS410 (cabinet) | Marshall VS230 (combo) FXs: Rocktron Intellifex + custom pedalboard (check my video demo) Strings: D'Addario Software & Recording Gear: Cubase 4 | Mackie Onyx 400F | EZdrummer | Korg Pandora PX4D ------------------------------------------------------- myspace.com/jerryarcidiacono Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |

It has some kind of phaser or chorus which can be nice in some situations but I think it's a bit too much for this one. Playing is all ok.

Everything is pretty good on this one, although the chord changes could be a bit more natural sounding. Tone is a bit too wet.
