-------------------- ![]() ![]() mysql> SELECT * FROM master_name WHERE ((firstname = 'Paul') AND (lastname = 'Gilbert')); "The Fundimental Difference between Paul Gilbert and Buckethead is that Paul Explores the Good side of the force, while Buckethead Explores the Dark Side of the Force" :) |

You are number 970 - which is not that bad - at least under 1000! Thanks Kris! wheww at least I'm in the 3 digit numbers and pretty low! I guess I got started not to long after gmc got started then. I wasn't early but now late Oh yea I also feel bad for the person who is the #666! Kris do you think u could tell us and get his/hers attention to this discussion! You know we've already past the 6/6/6 date last year! June 6, 2006! I remeber telling my dad about that and he is a religous person and said nonin would probably happen because it's 2006 but the next summer he got bad depressed and before was depressed for years but that summer it got so bad when me and my sis got back from living in CT. w/ my mom! Then we went down to my originial state where I was born Alabama. Anyway my dad got really depressed and when we went w/ my other grandma I had just got done talking with him and said there was a bad storm and we'd have to stay w/ my grandma but the signal went out on the cellphone and when i got home about 1 hour later I heard that my dad commited suicide and I was devistated beacuse he taught me alot on guitar and I wouldn't be able to ever play w/ him and that devistated me and now I want to be a pro and make him proud but I wish he could see me now |

now I want to be a pro and make him proud but I wish he could see me now I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Being a dad myself I know for sure you don't have to go pro for your dad to have been proud of you. He'd be proud of you just for trying, just for playing the guitar even. I wouldn't be able to ever play w/ him Music is a funny thing and theory and technique aside it's a lot about expressions. With expressions and feelings some people can say more with one single note than others with a hundered. This often comes from being colored by things happening that affects you, with either happy or sad feelings as a result. So not in person but with your expressions and feelings I'd say you'll be playing with your dad for the rest of your life. -------------------- Amps Hughes & Kettner Switchblade 100W head, Peavey Classic 30 Tweed combo, Blackstar HT5 head, Vox AC4TV
