Hey man, I know this is your first REC upload and I'm glad to see you getting involved with the program.
If you are unsure on how to do it, the word Poll is a clickable link that will guide you to a brief tutorial. I could do it for you but that's not going to help you figure it out.. Cheers, Steve Edit: Also, could you provide a link to the original lesson This post has been edited by skennington: Oct 24 2009, 04:53 AM
Reason for edit: Link for lesson

Good take
As you wrote, there are some mistakes here and there, as example some notes on the alternate picking runs are not clear. If you fix these little errors, you can get a perfect take. -------------------- Main Gear Guitars: Washburn N4 Vintage | Washburn N2 | Washburn WI67Pro | Washburn EA20B Amps: Laney GH50L (head) | Laney GS410 (cabinet) | Marshall VS230 (combo) FXs: Rocktron Intellifex + custom pedalboard (check my video demo) Strings: D'Addario Software & Recording Gear: Cubase 4 | Mackie Onyx 400F | EZdrummer | Korg Pandora PX4D ------------------------------------------------------- myspace.com/jerryarcidiacono Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |

Hey! Congrats of your first REC entry! You did a very good job in many parts excepting the fast licks where there are some notes that don't ring. I recomend you to isolate those licks and practice as exercises with metronome. Another thing that would help is to check alternate picking exercises lesson in the GMC archive. Keep you takes coming!

Very good take! I think your playing was in general good, but a bit sloppy. Some notes came out weak, and I think you can play tighter than this.
