Good take! I think your playing was good here, but you lack fluidness a lot.

sounds really good man, nice take. itīs pretty close to the original one, only thing I see is chord at 00.18 could be better. and lick at 00.22 is a little bit out of time. but, as I said, itīs pretty close to the original.
well done! Lian -------------------- |

Thank you for posting this, Custom. Nice take.
I can add some considerations to the previous posts. Keep attention to the way I've played the lesson. As example, the lick at 0:13 should be played more legato. There are some unwanted notes before the chord you play with your left thumb. Also, you're missing the grace notes at the end (played with my left ring finger) . You can see them on the slow video #8 and on the tab! This lesson is rated 4 but it's not so easy at it seems. To get the Hendrix feeling you need a great control over the neck with your fingering hand. Feel free to send me some PM (even with the mp3 file of your future takes) if you need any feedback before posting your take on the REC -------------------- Main Gear Guitars: Washburn N4 Vintage | Washburn N2 | Washburn WI67Pro | Washburn EA20B Amps: Laney GH50L (head) | Laney GS410 (cabinet) | Marshall VS230 (combo) FXs: Rocktron Intellifex + custom pedalboard (check my video demo) Strings: D'Addario Software & Recording Gear: Cubase 4 | Mackie Onyx 400F | EZdrummer | Korg Pandora PX4D ------------------------------------------------------- myspace.com/jerryarcidiacono Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |
