Basically, go buy it, Or else you might catch malaria. The album is a magnificent release for BTBAM. It combines the giant sound scape of Colors with the direct assault of Alaska with some fresh new riffs and solos. The opening song Mirrors is mesmerizing and Obfuscation that follows it is just brutal. The abstract piano and vocal work on "Fossil Genera - A Feed From Cloud Mountain" is just brilliant. The lyrics on the album really explore the darkness of reality and really really stand out. "Swim To The Moon" is just a great song as well, much like White Walls from Colors, its a massive song, in concept and length that completely grabs the listener.
A great album, Anyone else heard it yet? Here is the song Obfuscation off the new record. -------------------- ![]() _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Sentient Machinery, Multiple Dimensions, Dark Matter, Black Holes, And All The Mysteries Of The Universe...Explored Here |

Its just great.
Mirrors starts the album off in a very unique way, creating a very nice dark atmosphere. Love the intro of Fossil Genera. BTBAM shouldn't even have a genre labeled to them, because there's really too much there. -------------------- Join Me On the Lyrics Board !

It's awesome when a band reach the point that not label is aplplyable to their music Indeed! If a band manages to do something like that and pulls it off, they've got my respect! Between The Buried And Me has definetly succeeded in that! I'm listening to this album (again) on Spotify at the moment... Just brilliant! "Is it metal? Is it jazz? No, it's BTBAM!"
