Maybe im just a bit crazy, but I woke up with Emir's "Hot Country Licks in G" in my head
 So I guess thats my next lesson.Do any of you wake up with random tunes in your head, or am I just a bit special?

I wake up with some tune in my head every day. Today it was the Beatles' "Hey Bulldog" mostly, yesterday it was Journey's "Any way you want it."

It happens to me sometimes as well. Even with some "original" material which I basically forget in an hour or so... without writing it

Not only when I wake up. I've always got some music playing in my head, sometimes even while I'm listening other music! Most of the time I switch the music to what's in my head to prevent becoming a nutjob XD

I love waking up with music inside my head. It happens a lot of times when I play in the night and then I go to sleep I just can't fall a sleep. Brain and ears are still processing and making new music, improvising composing and so on. Fantastic feeling

happens to me almost every day, and sometimes -and i really love this feeling- i wake up with a new idea or a new riff, and a lot of times those are just killer!
the thing is, right now i'm making a very rock n roll album and sometimes i woke with a very funk/disco riff in mind, those eventually become lessons can't wait to get to the bed

It happens to me, but I hear random phrases in 4/4 and 6/4 bars, I hear them sometimes during the whole day..
