Today is a special day, I hope you will agree:

* For the first time since Andrew's awesome First Step series - we now have a new series focused towards complete beginners.

* We have been working quite a while with this behind the scenes and today we give you 7 new lessons - so that you can dive into the realms of chords. Perfect for beginners or if you are a shred head who missed the basics!
-----------

Bear Rose is an old GMC:er. We have now changed his display name but you might remember him as machogriz.

I am a big fan of Bear's lessons - you will find that he systemetically covers the basics in a way that is easy to understand. Also, he provides neat playing examples and great words of encouragement.

Bear - we are looking forward to more of your lessons! =)

Stay tuned for more beginner features at GMC!

Hello GMC!

Thank you, Kris, for that great introduction!

It is indeed an honor to be a GMC instructor. We have been working on this series for quite awhile behind the scenes and I'm very excited and happy to have it go live on the website today!

I've been a member at GMC for quite some time now so I know that this is the best online guitar community there is, and I'm very privileged to be a part of it!

Great! Very cool lessons.
The part of 'complete beginners playing their first time guitar' was missing.
Now it's filled up with great lessons.

Wah, cool cool.gif Would have helped me a lot one year ago...but this should only be the beginning, I think we need more beginner lessons, so that everyone can enter this site, and will not stuck somewhere at level 3, because he doesn't have the necessary basics. Are you open for lesson requests at the moment, or are you too busy? (I'm aware that, even I give you topics and so on, it'll take you a long time to create a lesson!)

Currently I have a basic layout of what my next lessons will be, but I'm always open for requests! If your request is a more important beginner topic than what I'm working on, then I would definitely be willing to interrupt my schedule and add it in! Let me know any requests that you guys have at any time.
