Found the bare mp3 file on my computer and almost cried, thought I had originally lost this one when my computer crashed. "Mastered" it a tad bit to better the mix, and it still sounds pretty cool I think. This isn't a typical song for me, and I'm quite proud of it.

Lyrics:
_________________________

I cannot believe in who I am
I cannot believe in anything
A thickening darkness is all I know
Unbearable sadness is all I know

Lost to the waters of guilt
I suffer alone in my solitary shell
A worthless soul not worth saving
Pathetic excuse for life

I cannot stand this heavy rain
I cannot take this pain
I could not save my own kin
I cannot save anyone

My mind is falling apart beneath the weight of this heavy rain
I cannot bear my own sins
I am simply better off dead

The sound rain permeates the air in the city
Lying still against the ground
Lies the body of a man who lost everything

Yeah the vocals are a synthesizer, at the time I wasn't totally experienced with it. Maybe I'll redo them in time.

Very interesting stuff. The music sounds like maybe 90s indie rock then the vocal busts in to a sort of thrash growl, it's a really creative combo. Well done!

Really nicely done. Love it when the guitars finally come in heavier. Lol, here's some irony - though I'm not into the growling style, when the low voice first started, I really wanted the guitars to chug and thrash rather than the clean playing. But nicely brought together.

Just hire Sharon den Adel to sing the female lines! :-)

If I could I would. All I have of this song is the mp3 file, so if I want to change anything, I unfortunately have to redo it all.
