Hey Homies, here is...
Lick 26 The idea with this is an unusual but effective way of playing fast 3 note per string triplets. You pick the first 2 notes and hammer on the 3rd. So instead of picking every single note you miss out one on every 3 note shape. You can build some seriously legitimate speed using this and it sounds different to both alternate and economy picking approaches. It can be tricky to do so we'll be going at it slow as usual and then see how things speed up...

Licks for Video Chat, Tuesday 3rd July
At the request of Opetholic, we're going to look at some basic tapping licks. Lick 28 This lick in A Minor utilises a repeating left hand pattern whilst the tapped note ascends up the scale.
