Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 7.5 or higher.

Original lesson: Style Variations #1: Jazzy by Laszlo Boross
I just realized that BT that is downloadable is actually a bit slower than the one in the main video. Hope that's ok with everybody for this REC - might be interesting to fix though. Cheers! Emir -------------------- |

Perfect take, I'm sure you would play it perfect with a faster backing as well. 10 from me. Really good feel, timing, picking, tone, vibrato, playing with nice dose of emotion as well.

Great take of a really cool lesson. Brilliant tone and feel as well.
The only issue I had was that you played the phrases with more of a straight 8th note feel, wheras Lazslo's verison has more of a 'swing' feel to it. It's hard to explain so I hope I make sense !? But I don't mean that to take anything away from your great playing, it's just an observation that may benefit you if you like playing in this style -------------------- |

This piece reminds me of Larry Carlton and your interpretation - as we can call it like that, was very very very good! Straight ten from me!
