Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey Man this is very good. You've got great rhythm and articulation, just need to get that palm muting a bit chunkier. At the moment it sounds a bit soft and that's probably because you're holding your hand quite far back towards the bridge. If you want a bit more 'chug' in your palm muting try moving your hand a bit closer to the neck, so it's about halfway between the end of the neck and the bridge. Somewhere around there is the sweet spot. smile.gif

Hey nawak! The take is very good! And I am also seeing the PRS Mike Mushok baritone biggrin.gif hehehe now, aside from Ben's observations, I would like to add that there is a bend which slipped away at 0.41 - take care and implement that one as well smile.gif Add a little bit more attitude and the riff is as good as nailed! Keep up the good work!

it's pretty good! the tone is great!

I would work a bit on the vibrato and bends, maybe even doing them more aggresively
