Thanks! I missed a lot of beginner lessons due to the fact that I am largely self-taught so I am sure that your decision was a good one!

Brilliant ! Feel free to dive into whatever tasks you will you can get a grip with, whatever 'group' it's in too smile.gif

Hey Ben! A little late to the party but I'd love to join, just not sure which skill level I should work through (beginner or intermediate). Here is the lone recording I've done so far:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcOGpxO-H2A

I may just start at beginner to make sure I don't miss anything but I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

We'd be honoured to have you at the Temple !

You're comfortably in intermediate (although that piece was played like a pro) territory I would imagine smile.gif Although I've encouraged everyone here to follow their own instincts as to what they think they should be tackling so it's up to you ! Welcome aboard ph34r.gif

Greetings, disciples !

Everybody can now gather for morning exercise. Pick a partner and carry them on your back for 2 laps of the temple then change over and do it again.

When you're done, it's 100 push ups with a twist.. I want you to clap your hands together between each push up. This will help with your speed ph34r.gif

I know I'm being very kind to you.. but I like to give people what they want rolleyes.gif

When exercise is finished.. you get a 5 minute break to relax and then you all eat your bowl of noodles. Then it's back to your guitar ! cool.gif

No. Donuts only at the end of a hard working day... and only sometimes if Sensei is feeling generous... ph34r.gif

You guys are making me curious! And I found an online-shop that sells that stuff here in Germany. Slightly more expensive than in the UK though...but if you guys say it's worth it?!
Or I'll just wait till september, when I am going to the UK for a short trip (most likely). Yes guys...I'm coming to the island this year...beware! Or meet me for a beer.

Sounds good to me this should happen! However the Sensei is like Mariah Carey.. he has a list of demands:

Private jet, accomodation etc.. ph34r.gif

Good morning warriors-in-training !

You will now find that 3 more Tasks have appeared in the forum. From now on, you will see these Tasks appear under the names of 'Beginner Bushido Task 2' etc.. look for them on the day of every deadline for your next Task.

Remember that you can always pick a Task from any group if you feel like you will benefit more from that particular Task that week..

Right, before we go any further.. time for morning exercise.

Warm up with some jogging on the spot, star jumps... 50 push ups, 50 squats. 2 laps of the Temple with a partner on your back then swap.

Your guitars are waiting in the rack... ph34r.gif
