Hello all! As of this morning, I have officially been endorsed by V-Picks! I have been using them for some time now, thanks to Todd, and I can honestly say that I love them. Below is a link to the site. I do talk about them often in our Saturday chats, so no, I am not spamming the rest of you. I am just elated that they would endorse someone like me laugh.gif

http://v-picks.com/

I personally prefer the Stiletto Buffed.

http://v-picks.com/productdetails.php?q=215&page=picks

I got the idea to use it after Todd had a Switchblade Custom Buffed for his shredding awesomeness.

http://v-picks.com/productdetails.php?q=214&page=picks

These picks can be a bit pricey, but they are definitely worth it. The acrylic they are made of actually has a heat-activated grip! This makes it damn near impossible to drop them. Plus, they are comfortable and fast. Let me know if you have any questions. My custom picks are going to be complete in a week or two and then I will post a video on YouTube.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

I just sent an E-mail to the owner of the company asking if I could get one! I have bought very many of his guitar picks and his wife and I E-mail back and forth whenever I buy new ones! They are really nice people. Try a few picks and talk with them a little bit here and there when you order them. You might be able to eventually get an endorsement too!

Ah, great. Thanks. I tried to get a V pick when I was in US guitar center store but they had none. I want to try one and see how they are. I will get my friend to get the picks next time around when they travel home. smile.gif

Nice! I was planning on trying out their picks, but I love my V-Picks too much to ever think of cheating on them with a different brand. I am the opposite of Tiger Woods I guess laugh.gif

Nice one, Nihilist ! smile.gif

I'd love to experiment with V Picks but I don't think I can get them in the UK.. maybe I'll try emailing the owner.

I would be willing to mail some. I have no problem with that whatsoever. I shall be placing an order for about 10-20 soon enough.

Ben Just buy on line (it will be cheaper) Vinni only charges $5 for postage anywhere in the world.

I swear by them and am extremely jealous as I'd love to be endorsed by V picks.

Guess I need to up my skills and profile first.!

Do you order them ? Do you have to pay any outrageous customs charges ?

I had an HD cam come from the States and I had to pay an extra £70 or something to get it delivered. Just wondered if they do the same thing with every single thing that comes from the US.

That's great news man!!! Congrats!!!

I have several V-picks and I used them for a while and loved them. Then I went back to normal plastic picks and found I could play better. I just don't like the loud chirp. biggrin.gif But ... to each his own. If they work for you...that's awesome!

I'm actually very glad to hear about this, and read this post. I was very interested in the "Red Bear Trading Co." picks, but they're around $30 with shipping, so VERY pricey! When I started emailing the owner with questions specific to my picking needs, and asking if there was any dealers where I could try 1 or 2 before ordering, he was quite rude and told me that he already has too many orders and doesn't need more business. Needless to say, I will never buy one!

You mention that these picks have a good grip. What about for sweaty fingers? One of my buddies told me that the Red Bears are horribly slippery if you get sweaty fingers, and that it also makes them crack fairly quickly. I can tend to get the dreaded "sweaty fings" at times, which is why I stick to dunlop tortex.....but I go through SO MANY of them!!

I don't really sweat much, so I cannot help you there laugh.gif

I can say this however: Over time, your bodily oils will collect on the acrylic and make it somewhat slippery. If you wash it with bar soap, it will get rid of all the oils and be as good as new. Also! These picks have AMAZING durability. I have yet to go through one Stiletto!

Thank you all for the compliments!
