Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 7.5 or higher.

Original lesson: Blues Embellishments by Ivan Milenkovic
I know it's a bit rough and needs to be a little tighter but this lesson is so much fun to play I had to post a take. So here goes. |

hey! this is a very difficult lesson and you played it really well! If we divide the take in 2, the first half sounds a bit noisy and has some timing issues to fix.. but when you reach the second half your timing and playing becomes perfect! There are some notes that don't ring but the overall is positive. Well done!

Yeah I'm diggin' this.. I loved Ivan's orginal lesson and this also rocks too.
Totally different tone but it really works with that guitar you have. Like a dirty jazz rock thing. Just more time to get comfortable with the licks so you can lock into the groove more is all it needs. Good work ! -------------------- |
