He is quite good! He has been putting in wads of practice time that's for sure
Gotta love COB, as Ben said, they manage to combine melody/harmony and technical proficiency without coming off as pointlessly shreddy. It's a very fine line sometimes but they always manage it. Alexi gets dissed sometimes, after he mouthed off a bit about John Petrucci and such, and some folks bag on him for liking punk rock. Such crap is obviously pretty stupid.
