Hey guitarheads,

sadly I don't have much time for the forums these days due to university studies (the main topic is music though, so it's quite ok wink.gif ), but I finally got round to recording my new instrumental composition "Tell me why" - here it is:

Hope you like it, feel free to tell me what you think. biggrin.gif

Hey Thilo,

my mouth is still wide open. That sounds great. I especially love the "funky" part, which is awesome. But the all piece is good; it's tasty, tight, and well produced. Video editing is great too. Congrats ! smile.gif

Thank you man! I just LOVE when guitarists post their own work on these forums, because I enjoy listening to your ideas, songs, production... everything! Especially if the songs are so good like this one!

I really dig attitude, song structure, solo parts, tone... everything! You are a great musician mate, and God knows where you'll be in ten years if you contonue this way! Cheers mate wink.gif

Wou! I love it! You are not only a great player,, you are also a very creative composer. You music is very inspiring! I really like how the song evolves and has different atmospheres without losing the overall sense. Good job. smile.gif

Awesome, amazing, creative, tasty and original!

My only suggestion (although it could be due to lack of decent stereo at work right now) would be that the guitar could possible come up in the mix just a bit...sometimes it doesn't seem to cut clearly through the rhythm. Perhaps (this is my opinion) just a slight bit of gain as well. That's just personal preference, and I really do dig clean guitar....but I think just a bit of boost at the right moments might help your guitar JUMP out front of the AWESOME backing track a bit more!!

Great vid. Something tells me you'll have a youtube HIT in the next few years, for sure!

WOW! Nicely done! Great vibe through the entire piece and each bend was clean and purposeful, and the song was really well put together as well. Not to mention the video looks great (DSLR?) Just amazingly well done.
