Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 7.5 or higher.

Hi friend! It's great to find your first REC take here! Well done!
I like your take but I have some comments of things that could be improved. At first, the higher strings seem to be a bit out of tune. The second important thing to adjust on this one is your timing. You are most of the time a bit after the beat. Concentrate on playing tighter with the backing track. Also some bends could be more precise. Your vibrato and tone are really good. That's all! I hope that this helps. Congrats on your first REC take! -------------------- Visit my Personal Board

Sounds good! You did a good job learning it and you are almost there!
Your bend on 0.41 was off you can try practicing bends using tuner to get use to pitch! Tone was pretty good, but if you want to sound close to John use more compressor You can compare his technique to SRV so the sound is pretty close as well! -------------------- |

Hi, I thought this was a great take
The solo itself is quite sparse so I think it's ok to have some different interpretations to the timing in this case. Your range of vibrato is really good, very impressed was I ! (Yoda mode) The high bend was a bit flat as everyone noticed but apart from that, it was all good to my ears ! -------------------- |

A decent take. Perhaps you should dedicate more attention to the timing, as Gabriel suggested. Besides, you have a good control of vibrato, so, with given advices this gonna be an excellent shot !! Keep rocking
