Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 7.5 or higher.

Original lesson: Van Halen Tapping Style - Beginner by Joe Kataldo
I want to develop my tapping skills, so I've decided to start with this lesson and then increase difficulty. This post has been edited by eMGie: Mar 16 2012, 02:30 PM -------------------- My band SKAZA - Facebook or MySpace

Excellent performance. Near the beginning, your little finger on your fretting hand sounded like it was hammering on a bit early so watch out for that occurring when tapping. Apart from that, totally great

You played the lesson really good, the only comment that I want to add is that your timing could be a bit tighter. You tap every note at the correct moment but the hammer and pull could be better. By the way it's a 9 for me!

Nice shot and dynamics ! You have great potential, and only try to correct minor errors on some tapping and timing, and this will be for 10 !

9 from me as well with all the congratulations on the nice touch you have! Very good! Now a bit of work on the timing would get this take in the 10 zone
