Hey guys! Today I had a reunion with a possible producer for new Cirse's album. He is a really nice guy and we talked a lot about the importance of the song by itself. He talked about doing a very intensive pre-production of the songs. I gave him 10 new songs and he will give me his opinion in a week. The guy is called Alejandro Vazquez and the last two albums that eh produced are:
I just wanted to share this experience and also to ask you if you have any producer that you like. I use to follow producers discographies. -------------------- Visit my Personal Board

Sounds very good! Nicely produced tracks!
The only thing I would suggest is when you are working with a producer make sure he has good connections to bring your music to the next level! It is more important than producer itself! I know a lot of guys who can produce records and only a few that also will promote their work after everything is done! -------------------- |

It is more important than producer itself! I know a lot of guys who can produce records and only a few that also will promote their work after everything is done! Yeah! This guy would do only the job for the album, the songs and the recording. We already have a manager and press agents that are working on that. It's true that promotion is as important as the songs so we have that in mind. -------------------- Visit my Personal Board

Time spent in pre prep is always good as it will minimise time wasted at recording/mixing.
Personally I like producers who can communicate a clear idea of what they want and who then allow us engineers to get on with our work. The producers who are annoying are the ones who can't communicate clearly and/or don't have at least a basic understanding of the different stages of production and so have unreasonable expectations and/or are inconsistent and/or try to tell us how to record/mix/master. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer. yeah! Carajo is the biggest punk metal here. Their guitar tone is always awesome! Sounds awesome ! What is the first song about ? It has a luchador, an old man and a naked woman ?? This is a fast translation of the lyrics. In the roar of the anxiety The mind begins to warm, The nightmare becomes real Upon awakening! Hooooo! We swindled terror, Making fun of all The world injected acid Straight to my hundred. My sword desenfundare, My salvation empuñare. We will attack the roots That bind us! Hooooo! We swindled terror, Making fun of all The world injected acid Straight to my hundred. Hooooo! We dropped the mantle, We cover my vision. The mortal world injected acid In your hundred. Acid! (x2) Pretend, that you do not accept you. Pretending that to you, do not accept A full embrace. Hooooo! We swindled terror, Making fun of all The world injected acid Straight to my hundred. Hooooo! We dropped the mantle, We cover my vision, The world injected acid the acid In our hundred. Time spent in pre prep is always good as it will minimise time wasted at recording/mixing. The producers who are annoying are the ones who can't communicate clearly and/or don't have at least a basic understanding of the different stages of production and so have unreasonable expectations and/or are inconsistent and/or try to tell us how to record/mix/master. Fortinero you might be thinking of "mastering" instead of producing? They are hiring the producer to come in and help make the tracks and go in to the studio with them, right Gab? That's why they are in "pre production" which is the prep work for going in to the studio.
But I like your idea! What if he put up some stems (single tracks, like drums, bass, guitar) and we do our own mixdown of a song? That would be fun and good practice mixing Todd Great news Gabe!! and then your next producer will be Alvaro Villagra or Santaolaya.. who knowsss a crazy idea: why don`t you upload 1 song and each of us try to virtually produce it, you will get tons of ideas...just and idea... and you should also change your hair into purple hehehehe -------------------- VIDEO CHAT LESSON SATURDAY & SUNDAY!

That would be fun and good practice mixing Todd Yeah Todd, the idea is to work on the songs. We just have our first reunion and he will listen to the songs before start a work toghether but we made the first step. I'm not sure if that's what fortinero said, he talked about producing a song, don't know how it would be using the forum... let's see what he says.... -------------------- Visit my Personal Board

I was thinking about this: you upload the song as you create it and then we hear it and tell what we would like to hear in that song, for example: a longer/shorter solo, a chorus, silences, vocal armonies or melodies, bridges,a drum solo, a dog barking, a girl moaning...wait can i say that?
is not that what a producer does? and may be you get some cool ideas, who knows..... -------------------- WWW.GROOVERMETAL.COM.AR
