Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 7.5 or higher.

Original lesson: Rise Against Style Lesson by Carlos Carrillo
Been a long time since my last rec, so I chose one in the style of a band I just saw recently: Rise Against! Christian -------------------- |

You did a good job! I like your sound and you have a good feel of the style!
Your timing is a little off so I would suggest to practice this lesson using a metronome at a slow tempo and it will sound great! Also some notes didn't come out clear it's another thing that practicing at a slow tempo will fix! -------------------- |

Hi again mate! I had forgotten this lesson! I didn't know Rise Against when Carlos recorded this lesson.
The problem in this one is again that the timing. It's not precise. You also have to work on the main melody that is played many times in the lesson. There are some notes that sound a bit muted and the slide isn't precise. As Alex said, work on this one slower over metronome and you will improve your take after some days. -------------------- Visit my Personal Board

I agree with these nice guys! Cool riffing but you have to work on melody.

Nice one ! But it is evident that you have a problem with rhythm. Not so much, but analyze the synchronization of both hands. Metronome and practicing makes wonder
