Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 7.5 or higher.

Yo Manuh, great take !
A couple of things kept it from a perfect 10 though, to my ears. First of all, try to get a bit more palm muting on the very first part of the main riff to help separate the E and A strings. The other thing is those chord arpeggios from 0:26 onwards - the notes are supposed to ring into each other and not be so separated ( I know, the exact opposite of what I said before !). If you take your fingers off every time and only fret the note you're playing they won't ring into each other. Hopefully I've explained it well ? -------------------- |

Hi Manuh! Great job here! Ben's comments are exactly what I think of this take. I would add that in the first riff there are some notes that are picked softer, you have to keep the intensity in the whole riff to get a powerful sound. Your guitar must be like a wall in this type of tunes. It's a 9 for me. Well done!

Good take! I like your sound! I agree with Ben little things will make a huge difference! Also it sounds like your guitar intonation is out and some notes sounded out of tune!
I would suggest to check it and make sure that it is setup properly! -------------------- |
