If you are just getting in to editing video, there is a new service called WEVIDEO.com that will let you upload
your video clips to the web and edit the video using only a web browser (google chrome) then you can export to youtube. You can share your editing project with up to 5 people who can help work on it. I'd like to try a "COLLAB VIDEO" where 5 of us actually edit a video at some point For now, just check it out. It's not going to replace Final Cut or AVID but its' a handy free collaborative tool wevideo.com -------------------- VIDEO CHAT LESSON SATURDAY & SUNDAY!

IT"S FREE! What do you mean expensive? Are you talking about the pay plans? I would say skip that. Use the free bits to share a project. For everything else, use local software on your rig. The collaborative aspect is really spiff on this, but yeah I would stick to the free version
